What: West Marine’s brand new store in Corpus Christi will have its Grand Opening Celebration from Friday, August 9 through Sunday, August 11.  At 13,000 square feet, this is the largest West Marine store in the region and double the size of the previous Corpus Christi location.

Responding to the needs of the local sailing, boating and fishing community, this new West Marine store contains a huge selection of supplies, gear, apparel and accessories for your life on the water.

The new “Bait Shack” will carry a broad selection of fishing gear, specifically selected for the area. Plus, the store has a large selection of stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, footwear and casual and technical apparel. There is also an expanded assortment across most categories throughout the store.  An engine parts counter, staffed by specialists, will be open 7 days a week.  In addition, a huge selection of marine electronics will also be on display to touch and test.

Doors open at 8 a.m. on Friday & Saturday and at 9 a.m. on Sunday with the festivities continuing all weekend.

Family-friendly activities include:
