Once again the cruiser’s who live in and around Texas gathered at the South West International Boat Show in League City Texas for the Fourth Annual Cruiser’s Party.
An estimated 500-600 cruiser’s, both power and sail, enjoyed the evening of great music from the band Southbound, along with plenty of free beer and pizza.
The highlight of the evening was when the raffle was held, with the grand prizes of a Spectra Watermakers, donated by Yacht Equipment Services (Y.E.S.), a WinchRite electric winch handle donated by Sailology, and a Satellite phone donated by Sea Tech Marine.
Proceeds from the raffle go to the Educational Tall Ship Foundation.
This event was created when the TMCA (Texas Mariners Cruising Association) invited us to come to their Spring Fling, and we had such a great time, we added it to our Cruiser’s Party schedule. We also conned them into helping with the pizza each year!
These parties would not be possible without the support of our partners who make it all possible. This years cosponsors were Harken, Sailology, Spectra, Yacht Equipment Services, The Tall Ship Jolly Rover, Kanberra, Sea Tech Systems, Chafe-Pro, Dream Yacht Charters, Little Yacht Sales and of course the South West International Boat Show.
We hope you can join as next year, for the fifth annual Texas Cruiser’s Party. See you there?
