Once again Tradewinds Radio and cruising Outpost Magazine came to together to throw a great party for cruiser’s on beautiful Kimsha Beach, at the Buccaneer. An estimated 300 people gathered on the clean white sand to hear the sounds of ‘One white Chick” on stage. Don Clayton, a well known song-writer and artists joined them for a few numbers as well. The dancers from the Princess Port de Plaisance Resort & Casino had everyone on their feet as they entertained the gathered cruisers.
The beach was crowded with dinghy’s from the dozens of cruising boats anchored off the beach for the event, as well as many of the crews from the mega-yachts tied up inside the lagoon.
A raffle was held with dozens of prizes donated by local merchants to help raise funds for the Sisters of Basilica who work with the handicapped and underprivileged of the area, many of whom were in attendance and had a great time at the event.
We want to thank our co-sponsors for this event, Fortress Anchors, Sunsail and Quickline Marine for their support which made this event, and the one on Cane Garden Bay last week possible.
