    The Midwest’s only and the nation’s largest indoor “All-Sail” boat show arrives January 24–27, 2013 at Chicago’s famous Navy Pier. Strictly Sail has become a must-attend event for all sailors and has become one of Chicago’s favorite boat shows. The 2013 Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Chicago Show offers more boats, more gear, more seminars and more fun than ever!

    The fun begins Thursday, January 24th and will not end until the final bell sounds on Sunday, January 27th. This four-day sailing extravaganza features the latest and greatest the sailing industry has to offer. You’ll find the latest boat designs and their designers, the newest sailing gear and the experts that use it, accessories and hardware from the industries top suppliers and the most up to date charter information from around the World, all from more than 250 exhibiting companies from around the globe.

    The Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Chicago Show is a resource for learning and fun. Something we like to call “Edutainment.”  You’ll find more interactive seminars, more hands-on learning, and more classroom seminars providing opportunities for new sailors to learn about sailing and experienced sailors to improve their skills and become more confident at the helm.

    Sailors of all ages and abilities find Strictly Sail Shows “the sailing events” of the year. In addition to all the great boats on display this year’s activities include a full schedule of hourly seminars from the most renowned sailors in the world, live music by sailings favorite entertainers, great prize giveaways and special events for every attendee. Additionally, Navy Pier offers restaurants, shops and fun filled activities to fill every landlubber’s day. Make it a day trip or better yet make it a weekend getaway. The Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Chicago promises to deliver an experience that you’ll talk about until you return next year.

    SEMINARS—World adventure cruisers, authors, experts in navigation software, weather and sailing equipment specialist will share their stories and knowledge through the show’s extensive hourly seminar program. Unless noted on the schedule all seminars are free with the price of admission. Seminars are subject to change so please check the website frequently.

    HANDS ON, DIY & INTERACTIVE SEMINARS- On the show floor and included with the price of admission. These seminars will teach you how to “Do It Yourself” and help you clearly understand how to fix, maintain and take care of the little things every boat requires. Schedules and subjects will be posted under the seminar tab..

    AUTHOR’S CORNER- Some of the greatest adventurers of our time will be on hand to share their sailing experiences. Stop by the AC and meet your favorite author. Stop back for a list of authors planning to be on hand.

    REMOTE CONTROL SAILING POND- We’ll have boats on the water at the Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Chicago Show. Challenge your family and friends or bring a group from your local sailing club. Everyone gets a chance to race against their closest worthy opponent or race against the clock and take home bragging rights as the fastest sailor in the Midwest.

    Show Hours: 11am–8pm Thursday & Friday, Weekend Hours 10am–7pm Saturday, 10am–5pm Sunday. No dogs permitted unless they are working.
