  1. Bob's narrative reminds me of the ignorant purchase of my first sailboat – an awkward Dawson 26' center cockpit ketch. My machinist partner in our Las Vegas special effects manufacturing company felt I was under charging for our designs because my respect for money was deficient.

    "From whence comes respect for money?" was my question. "More debt." was his answer.

    So I bought my first boat in a successful quest for debt, learned to sail on Lake Mead, and my life has been so much better as a result.
