Ever dream of taking off for the equator, fixing up an old boat, and then sailing it off into the sunset? Well, a few years ago, a group lead by Moxie Marlinspike did just that.

  1. This is my absolute favorite sailing documentary and I watch it all the time, especially in the dead of winter when my boat's out of the water.

For those of you who haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.

  2. What this these fine young folks did is exactly why I upped and left my home of 40 years in the Pacific NW and moved to Florida, never before visiting or knowing a single person, to sail the Caribbean. I just wish I did this 20 yrs ago, but it is never to late to chase your dream. Thank you for the inspiration and keeping my dream alive!

  3. Yeah great Documentary, however, didnt you hear him say they took things at night from other boaters plus boarding other boats chilling out while they used their crane without permission. Yeah good adventure, but I hardly think these are fine young folks. Hippy boat bums that poop off the side of the boat more like it. This is why we have a livaboard issue in Florida. Boaters need to be responsible as well as take care of the Environment. Why is cruising outpost showcasing them? Think about it.
