The 64th Annual Delcambre Shrimp Festival kicks off on Wednesday, August 13th at 6:30 pm! Great fun with street fairs, concessions, rides, and super music (all-day Fais-do-dos). All the great food and drink will be prepared by local Cajun chefs !! The shrimp cook-off starts at 9:00 am Saturday morning.
Free admission on Wednesday, 8/13 and Thursday 8/14, and one price to ride all rides.
Friday and Saturday nights are the big music events featuring Tracy Lawrence, KrossFyre, and Jamie Bergeron & the Kickin’ Cajuns, also Kyle Wooton, Frank Foster, and Wayne Toups, as well as DJ Homer Stelly and Beau Young. On Sunday, August 17th there will be a Fishermen’s mass followed by the traditional Blessing of the Fleet, on the Delcambre Canal.
