The Newport Rhode Island boat show is the premier event that kicks off the show season. For the fourth year in a row, cruising outpost is sponsoring the Cruiser’s party. Everyone is invited, it’s Saturday night at the Sunset Lounge inside the show starting at 6 PM. No reservations needed, no shirt no shoes no problem. Live music from Eric Stone, free beer, free pizza.
Bob and Jody will be there with the all new Cruising Outpost booth (tent C booth 72 and 73), and Saturday night they will host the Cruisers’ Party. Dream Yacht Charter has donated for one week, a 40 plus foot Catamaran for bare boating in Martinique, plus many more goodies. We are working with Call of the Sea Foundation out of San Francisco, a non profit educational program. They are building a second ship for their fleet. Check out the site at these links:

He discusses the National Weather Service marine program advisory and warning system, reviews weather maps, and discusses the development of self-reliance weather skills.
