It is that time again, time to plan for the PNW cruiser weekend party held August 11-13. We have reserved the entire C dock from Cap Sante Marina in Anacortes WA. As in the past this party will host Bob and Jody along with the Brethren of the Sound Kings and Queens. Lots of fun events, TBA.

Slips are limited so please sign up here. Length, beam along with port or starboard tie. If you can stern tie please let me know as well. The list has started so let’s get this party started.

The festivities will involve live music on the docks Friday and Saturday with some activities for all. We are looking to do a BBQ on the docks Saturday afternoon before and or during the Pirate ball. Our dear friend John Aydelotte, R.I.P., was very influential with the beginnings of this event, and always loved the BBQ. We will be having it in his honor and will need all of us to help make it a really great cruiser’s pot-luck BBQ. Details will be at the Forum so click here as it gets closer to the event for more details.

The Pirate Ball on Saturday evening will be on C Dock barge. Live Band 6 -10 pm

There will be prizes as usual with the proceeds going to The Educational Tall Ship Foundation.

    Many Thanks To Our Sponsors!

This Year’s Grand Prize: The Survivor 06 is the smallest desalinator in the world, weighing only 2.5 lbs (1 kg). Constructed to be compact and lightweight, it is ideal for emergency liferafts and individual survival kits, and trusted by militaries and individuals around the globe. Special thanks to Forespar Boating!

Bob & Jody are doing a Share The Sail to coincide with this weekend. The dates are August 11-18, 2017. We will pick up the boats Friday afternoon and have a sleep over. Then Saturday morning we will cruise over to Anacortes Cap Sante Marina for the day and evening. Sunday late morning we will be leaving to cruise the San Juan Islands for the week and returning the boats on Friday the 18th. Many of the regulars will be tagging along and Darren O’Brien of  pacificnwboater.com is preparing the itinerary for that week of sailing. Darren and Lisa O’Brien have produced all the video’s for the State Parks in Washington.

Bob Bitchin say’s, “I think that they are qualified better then me to make this itinerary”.
