    A few basics everyone should know

    • Please read DYC BASE DETAILS, a PDF containing DYC base details, basic info, locations, what available at base etc.
    • Downtown Dubrovnik is 5.5 miles from DYC base
    • DYC base is 14 miles north of Dubrovnik airport
    • There is Uber available 
    • Airbnb has tons of affordable accommodation in the area



    May 22

    We are boarding boats 5pm. Prior to boarding, Captains will delegate what provisioning needs to be done with Crew. We will stay aboard our boats this evening in the harbor.

    May 23

    Captains meeting in the morning, setting sail early by afternoon

    May 24 – 28

    Captains are working itinerary.  Boats will travel together as a flotilla. We will be heading north in the direction of Split, sailing 10-25 miles a day. Each night we will stop to anchor, or moor. If you are at anchor, there will be a dingy to get ashore. Otherwise you will be at a dock and can roam freely. There will be opportunities for crew to explore and eat on land almost every evening. Bob + Jody will also be hosting a land based “Cruisers Party”, optional for interested participants and will be a small additional cost – ALWAYS guaranteed great time. Please standby for further details about the day to day itinerary.

    All boats must be returned to DYC base by 9am.

    While this event is full, we do have people requesting a refund as they can’t make it in May 2021. Please email Jody at and get on the waiting list. There have been quite a few changes already. We will have to re-assign people to boats as it gets closer. Meaning, the old boat assignment will be reconfigured to suit everybody’s needs.

    Total trip cost includes the boat (all boats are monohulls for this event), partial provisioning, fuel, insurance, damage waivers, an experienced staff member/skipper aboard each vessel, event planning.

    $2500 pp/do* for private double cabin with ensuite head. 

    $2300 pp/do for private double cabin with shared head.

    *per person/double occupancy

    How To Reserve Your Cabin

    Due to the high cost of processing credit cards, there are two options for making your deposit

    If you would like to use your credit card, then there is a 3% surcharge, for $1000.00 per person deposit plus 3% CC charge = $1030 per person. 


    REFUND POLICY – While these are unprecedented times, we feel it is best to work with everybody on getting refunds. However will will need to fill your cabin before a full refund can be issued.

    Or, as an option, reserve your spot by emailing and message “I am sending a check for the deposit today for STS Croatia 2020.” Send your check for $1000 per person deposit to: Latitudes & Attitudes, PO Box 100, Berry Creek, CA 95916. Check arrival within 10 days will secure these reservations as of the date posted.
