The Itinerary
All Boats: June 29, sail 25 miles to Huahine. Anchor for the evening in the north anchorage, and explore the island.
All Boats: June 30, motor up the inside passage to the Polynesian dinner/dance Le Mahana Huahine. (Click here to see) Cocktails start from 5:30 pm for happy hour until 6:30 pm at sunset time. They offer a barbecue buffet, with an assortment of salads and dessert for 4500 CFP vat ($45 US) pp.
You will need to sign up for that in advance as they can only accommodate a maximum of 60 people. Sign up here before March 25th.
All Boats: July 1st, motor to the pass, and then sail to Taha’a, anchoring for the evening in the lagoon. Visit a Black Pearl farm and/or explore the island, motu’s and lagoon.
All Boats: July 2nd, sail out the western pass, and on to Bora Bora. Anchor inside the lagoon for a day of snorkeling, swimming, and exploring the island.
All Boats: July 3rd, sail to Bloody Mary’s. (They have water, ice, and the best party-spot on the islands) where we will have a party with Pupu’s and rum punch, with the Eric Stone Band! This is one of the best places on Bora Bora for dinner, which will be available. You will be able to arrange a “Shark Dive” at Bloody Mary’s for the next day if you feel the urge!
7 Day Boats: July 4th, Sail to Taha’a to spend the evening exploring the island, and in the morning (prior to noon) return the boats to the base. And celebrate the 4th aboard the boat!
10 Day Boats: July 4th, motor around Bora Bora to the opposite side of the island near the Ritz Carleton and the Four Seasons where we will anchor for the evening, and dive with giant bat rays in the morning. (If you want to go ashore for drinks at these “luxury Resorts” they only allow people who have a room reserved. In the past STS participants have reserved one room for a night, and their whole boat went ashore to “help with their luggage!” LOL
10 Day Boats: July 5th, spend the day on the backside of the island enjoying all that Bora Bora has to offer.
10 Day Boats: July 6th. Sail to Taha’a arriving in the late afternoon, and anchor for the night.
10 Day Boats: July 7th, explore Taha’a and its motu’s, anchor for the evening, departing for the base the next morning.

HOTELS
When we anchor off the “exclusive” hotels on the reef surrounding Bora Bora, they do not allow non-guests to land and enjoy the bar. Last time one of the participants decided they wanted to spend an evening in one of the bungalows, and once they booked, we could all go and enjoy the bar as “guests” of a guest. In case anyone might want to reserve one, here are links to the three best resorts on the reef on the backside of Bora Bora.”
