The Founders Circle

The base group who made this all possible are our Founders Circle. Our “previous publication” of 15 years had the most loyal following of any marine publication. For “legal reasons we cannot discuss” it was taken down.

Our Founders Circle believed in the crew enough to sign up for 5 year subscriptions to both the print and on-line versions of Cruising Outpost. Aside from the 5 year subscription, our Founders get a great hat, which is embroidered “Founder” right on it, as well as a Founder Burgee and other specials like discounts on our events and at our Ship’s Chandlery. The cost is $250.00.

Charter Members

Not all boaters are rich. In fact, we have always said that “Rich people buy boats but poor people own them”. The Charter Members of Cruising Outpost are folks who had just as much faith in what we were doing, but were unable to handle the high price tag. Our Charter Subscribers also get both the print an on-line issues. They also get a hat, with “Charter Member” embroidered on it. They are also offered discounts on our events like seminars and sailing adventures. They have the choice of joining for one year ($50.00) or two ($95.00).

Print Subscriptions

Of course there are thousands of boaters who are not aware of who the “Crew” is, nor do they care. However they are boaters and just want some good entertainment and information about the cruising lifestyle from people who really know. The quarterly print edition subscription is just $25.00 a year, or two years for $45.00. Sorry, no hat, no burgee! No soup for you!

On-Line Subscriptions

For our cruising friends and liveaboards who can’t take the clutter of having paper magazine about, we have the on-line version of the print magazine complete with links to interesting sites and links to the advertisers so you can look more closely at their products. Also, archived issues will be available to the on-line subscribers. The quarterly on-line version subscription is just $25.00 a year, or two years for $45.00.
