Grenada offers an unforgettable sailing experience and many sailors stay there for years! People from all over the world are captivated by the culture, food, scenic beauty, beaches, rainforests, and the warm welcome they receive. Horizon Yachts Grenada are proud to be at the forefront of the island’s yachting industry and community.
Horizon Yachts Grenada owners, Jacqui and James Pascall, have a long history in the yachting industry in the southern Caribbean, in fact, you could describe them as the doyens of sailing in Grenada and the Grenadines. They arrived in Grenada over 25 years ago, both having extensive sailing experience, and in 2000 established Horizon Yacht Charters, Grenada, with just 3 yachts at the new True Blue Bay Resort Marina.
Horizon Yacht Charters had been established 2 years earlier in the BVIs by founders Sylvia Driver and Andrew Thompson who were looking to expand the company into other Caribbean islands. Jacqui and James were the ideal choice to open the charter base in Grenada. During the next decade the business grew steadily. Why was this? James says, ‘We own and manage the business and it’s down to us to make sure the highest standards are maintained.’ This philosophy saw Horizon invest in the best engineers on the island to maintain their cruising fleet.
