SEA OF JAPAN (Jan. 5, 2020) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Dylan Virrueta-Torres, from Chico, Calif., signals a shot line warning from the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) to the Henry J. Kaiser-class underway replenishment oiler USNS John Ericsson (T-AO 194) as the ship’s conduct a replenishment-at-sea. Milius is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
