The Aquila 45 Sail makes its U.S. premiere alongside the Aquila 50 Sail at the 2026 Annapolis Sailboat Show.
Boaters heading to Annapolis this October will have two new sailing catamarans to explore as Aquila Catamarans makes its debut at the Annapolis Sailboat Show. The Aquila 45 Sail leads the display with its U.S. premiere, joined by the Aquila 50 Sail, the first model in the builder’s sailing range.
Both boats will be on display at Dock B during the October 15–18, 2026 show. For cruisers familiar with the company’s power catamarans, the visit offers a chance to see how its approach to onboard living translates to sail.
Aquila 45 Sail: Space to Gather and Room to Cruise

The second model in the builder’s sailing range, the Aquila 45 Sail measures approximately 47 feet overall with a 25-foot, 5-inch beam. Its design combines more than 1,350 square feet of upwind sail area with several places to relax aboard.
A fixed bow creates a forward gathering area with seating and a sun pad. Bridge-to-bow access connects the foredeck with the open flybridge helm area, where U-shaped seating, a coffee table, and a forward-facing settee give guests room to join the skipper.
Aft, the cockpit flows into the salon and galley, making the main living area useful for meals and time together at anchor. Panoramic windows bring natural light into the interior.
Owners can choose three- or four-cabin configurations aboard the Aquila 45 Sail, with private entrances and heads with showers. Depending on the layout and optional sleeping arrangements, the builder lists accommodation for up to 12 guests, giving both private owners and charter operators flexibility.
According to the company’s announcement, the Aquila 45 Sail is also a finalist in the European Yacht of the Year Awards, with the winner to be announced in early 2027.
Aquila 50 Sail: The Model That Launched the Sailing Range

Launched earlier in 2026, the Aquila 50 Sail introduced the company to the sailing catamaran market. The design puts cruising comfort and circulation around the boat at the center of its layout, with bridge-to-bow access, a fixed forward entertaining area, and a salon and galley designed for extended time aboard.
Buyers can select four-, five-, or six-cabin configurations on the Aquila 50 Sail, with private cabin entrances. The company says advanced composite construction and quality control are central to the model’s build.
The Aquila 50 Sail won the Premier Category at the 2026 Multihull of the Year Awards, according to the release, and the builder reports orders from around the world.
