Whenever the seasons change, I like to rearrange furniture. On a boat, though, you usually can’t just slide the couch across the floor. And if you’ve got an older boat, some interiors can feel downright dated by today’s standards. Fortunately, lighting upgrades offer one of the most cost-effective ways to refresh a cabin.

Most boaters already know the benefits of LED lighting: greater efficiency, lower heat output, and improved durability compared to halogen or incandescent fixtures. But newer lighting trends and technologies make updating your boat’s lighting more worthwhile than ever.
